Had two visits - first was initial consultation - showed me the problem and referred me to another dentist who could do the job better.
Second vist was good - tested for pain and gave additional needle before extraction.
Would definately recommend.

Hopefully our experience was an anomoly--had a broken molar with an exposed and very much alive nerve. The drilling started with no anesthetic and after protesting and asking for some form of anesthetic only blank stares were given. I know there are people than can handle the drill on an active nerve but something has to be said for some form of freezing.
This is an addition to my previous review. During one of my visits there I was offered anesthesia before a procedure which I was told it was going to cause a bit of pain. Because I’m a wimp when it comes to dental pain I accepted and I was pleasantly surprised to discover that they used the most non-traumatic needle I’ve ever had.
So far we’ve been very happy with this experience and I hope I won’t be disappointed in the future. I still need to go back there for some work on my teeth.
Dr Sha has another clinic on Zhongshan Lu .I visited this one a couple of times.Dr Yang is not the only one speaking English. Dr Chong(I am not sure I spelled it correct) and some of the nurses are speaking English too. The equipment is top notch, they have digital X-ray and everything is spotless. Upon request they will prepare a detailed English claim form for your insurance.

Both me and my husband we’ve been satisfied with the quality of the dental work we had done at this clinic. We will definitely go back there if we’ll have any more tooth problems.
