Japanese Street, a walking street, begins near the east of DUFL. Other than sidewalk vendors selling things there seem to be few Japanese restaurants, teahouses, and flower stores. The area around it, however, is a quiet, old Japanese neighborhood with treelined streets, interesting architecture (mostly old Japanese homes) and Children's Park. The homes today are very run-down and may be slated for demolishion.
