Had an interesting chat with Dai, a restaurant entrapraneur from Hong Kong. He owns several restaurants in Shanghai and Tianjin (including one in the city's tallest building), but this will be his first in Dalian: CityOne86 Restaurant and Bar in the Software Park - fusion Chinese and Italian. (It was only 3 summers ago that dining in Software Park meant going to the GE cafeteria.)

Several people have asked about the chat room. It's ready, but our plan is to use it for scheduled public events. For example, a guest speaker from business or government or famous in some way will take questions from the audience and give answers. Any suggestions?
