Russian Street Just across from the Shengli Bridge you will find Russian Street which was constructed about 100 years ago, and was one of the first avenues to be built in the city.
This pedestrian walkway is some 430 meters long and a stroll will let you glimpse back in time to some of the European and Russian styles of building houses that line both sides of the famous street and you will see some of Dalian's architectural designs from the past.
The 19th century architecture is unique to this area of the city so take your time and image you have travelled back in time and just let the
ambience wash over you.
And if you are a souvenir hunter you'll definitely have to check the numerous stalls and shops scattered along the street, selling both European antiques and paintings, being a wise shopper will allow you to track down a genuine relic from days gone by.
