I went to that club last Friday, only to suffer a deafening "YMCA" sung by a chinese band whose pulmonary capacity certainly was olympic. This is not the first time people complain about the sound volume but what I find most annoying this time is the answers I was given on the way out: "We know but Chinese like it that way" and "it is not dangerous"... It certainly isn't for someone who's already deaf, all I know is I was in PAIN. Do chinese have bionic ears?
I'm not gonna risk mine unless people actually tell me the music volume's been consistently back to a decent level.
Open bier, open Champagne, mmmm yeahhh goooooddddddddd
The staff is really cool, and the most important, always a lot of people to never ever past a lonely party in Dalian!!
The music is really good too but maybe a little bit too loud!
I've been in Dalian a few years and I'd have to say this is the best club I've been to so far. Dalian has seem to be playing the same old RnB for years but at Sunny they like to play a mix of RnB and House. I've visited Sunny a few times, the best is definetly on weekends, as they have a foreign DJ there every weekend. The drinks are priced well, good environment and always full of foreigners. I've been there during the week also, and yes it is full of Chinese, but what can u expect, we are in China. Definetly the place for foreigners to hang and chill
There party was really kool too, looking forward to the next
I was there Monday night. It was packed with Chinese. So it could actually had been a nice experience unfortunately the music was the loudest I ever heard in a chinese bar and that means something.
My guess are about 120 to 140DB.
I will go there again if they turn down the music to a normal chinese loud level (I do not think this will happen). And I am thinking about opening a shop for hearing aids just outside of the club. There would be no better ad possible.
