Yummy Japanese Food, Monday, 31 March 2008

This is my favorite Japanese restaurant here in Dalian.
The service is great, the atmosphere and the design inside is nice and not too much for my taste. The Food is great. Sushi and Sashimi is nicely done and the warm dishes are also really good! A 10 for the Food!
An 8 for Ambiance because I don't like that so many Chinese smoke there. I can't really enjoy my food when I am sitting next to a table with four smoking men.
The service is perfect! They have a lot of waitresses with these Japanese-like dresses. They are really friendly and fast. They speak Chinese and Japanese I think, the boss-waitress also speaks some English so if you are not fluent in Chinese this won't be a problem. The menu is in Chinese and Japanese but there are pictures (!). :) Service is a 10.
Of course, for Chinese conditions the price is a little hight, I mean compared to ordinary restaurants here in Dalian. Anyways I think the price is very reasonable. When it comes to raw fish I think one should spend some more money for the sake of health! Cost is a 9.
When I go there with my girlfriend, we spend about 200 - 300RMB for cold and warm dishes and sushi. If you don't order Sushi and Sashimi it is cheaper.

P.S.: In case you go there for lunch they will offer you one of 30-40 Lunchsets. They are about 30-80RMB per person.

Check it out! It's worth it!
