Certainly the battle of the nightclubs continues, with both Love Club; and Sunny night Club; having plenty of discussion in the;;; nightlife forum.; And we paid paid a visit to new high-end 66 Club which opens next week - in the Classic Living complex near min zu square).; First floor will be the bar, watch the Chandeliers.; 2F will be disco/hip-hop and 3F will KTV.; With Bug Bar, Viper Club and others, that part of Dalian is becoming more of an area for nightlife.
We wish them all success and all who contribute to making Dalian a livelier city!;
All of the hotels are having promotions.; Nikko is running a very good Pizza Promotion this month for 48 rmb ( more below).; Paulaner at Kempinski will have outdoor BBQ every weekend evening; starting in a week.

My Door is having regular Happy Hour for folks in the Software Park, Tin Whistle on Thursday Dalian International American School has excellent buffet every Wednesday

Passed the construction at Wayne Hou's Brooklyn Bar; in the phase II area of Wanda complex (north of Starbucks and HuangHe Lu), an area of Dalian close to downtown but after years of construction about to blossom.; Brooklyn Bar will have the comfort food of home (NY Style pizza, hamburgers, panninis (in Brooklyn??), grilled chicken/eggplant/mozzarella sandwiches ....;; Opening is planned for mid-late May. Pizza King has changed owners and wish them the best.;
And Funkymother is alive and well in Canada at the moment, traveling between China and New Zealand.;
